AIDS-Related Ocular Disease
Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a disease that can affect just about any area of the body, including the eyes. When AIDS affects the eyes, it can be in the form of vascular hemorrhages or infection such as cytomegalovirus.
Although AIDS has no cure yet, improvements have been made in treating this disease with a variety of medications.
